3. BBC Bitesize Science
This website contains lessons, activities and tests on different topics in chemistry. The activities are interactive virtual labs. Topics covered include the particle theory, behaviour of matter, atoms and elements, compounds and mixtures, acids, bases and metals and pH.

5. Home Experiments
This website contains a number of fun experiments that can be used as lesson hooks or small experiments students can try at home. For example, there is one experiment to explore acids and bases using red cabbage. In this experiment, students use an indicator made from red cabbage to determine if common household products are acids or bases.
